ingling techniques to create impressionistic dreamlike images has long been a concentration, and infrared blurs are my most recent endeavors in this genre. Genres are vague categories with no fixed boundaries, formed by convention sets. Like many artists, I enjoy working across multiple genres by borrowing and recombining these conventions. An appealing aspect of this particular procedural mixture is the unpredictability associated with the many variables in play. When the results are this satisfying, it stimulates the desire to make more. Creativity is a reiterative cycle.
