ften it is difficult to get an unobstructed view of the countryside off the Katy Trail, as the right-of-way boundary is overgrown with trees and shrubs. So here I fell back on the old cliché of using foreground branches as framing devices. The soft focus meniscus achromat lens and infrared radiation, however, restore energy to this pictorial contrivance and in this case helps to make this composition seem fresh.
