S earching through my many lenses, I was looking for a versatile infrared candidate to mount on the IR Canon 5D. The one used on this shot, the Kiron 28-210mm Superzoom might just be the ticket. In addition to its extreme focal length range, it features an excellent IR focusing mark on the barrel, and has a macro mode at the long end. As you may know, infrared radiation focuses behind visible light, so a focus shift must be made if things are going to be sharp. With this lens, the greatest shift is made at the wide end, here rather successfully executed.
