A merican surfaces. Early morning light illuminates another farm processing operation just off the Katy Trail, this one in Sedalia. Shot in infrared with my Zeiss 45mm Tessar lens, this is a panorama assemblage of four different exposures made in a quadrant matrix. Part of my documentary impulse, as I was photographing this scene I considered it somewhat reminiscent of the work of Bernd & Hilla Becher.

“The power and appeal of Documentary is the way it alters and plays with the way the viewer relates to and understands the subject.” - Ben Edwards

You are getting some great infrared images with your new setup. Great work of the American Midwest.
