eddling smoothly while cruising along at about 18 miles per hour, I glanced to the left and noticed the sun brightly reflecting off the roof of a barn. The dramatic clouds as a backdrop demanded an infrared capture. Breaking to a stop, out came the monopod and Sony F828. As I was composing the image, the quiet beauty of the scene became perceptible. The Katy Trail is a most wonderful resource and is one of the best features of the Missouri summer. Many more rides of longer and longer distances are on tap in the months ahead.
