T he apparent intersection of the earth and sky as seen by an observer is variable dependent on relative position. When oriented up-close, the demarcation interface is sharply defined. Here the individual strands of tallgrass are well delineated along a diagonal line. The complementary colors of blue and orange coupled with the dramatic altocumulus cloud formations make a simple composition interesting.

“A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such a speed...It feels an impulsion...this is the place to go now. But the sky knows the reasons and the patterns behind all clouds, and you will know, too, when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond horizons.” - Richard Bach
