rom the back seat, “drive-by-shooting” opportunities are more limited. But late in the day traveling north from the Kansas Red Hills back to Wichita, the shadow of the truck animating the landscape provided much entertainment. The shadow was in a constant state of flux, as it moved close and then far away in concert with surface topography. A long shutter speed allowed for a stable shadow pan with a horizontal blur of background details.
