Readymade

   So much depends
Avoid getting stuck
Paradoxical decision

A nalytic rubric. In an effort to artistically stretch my frame of reference, I created another installment in the “Grid Series.” In this episode, I have employed a large black button with four thread holes functioning as a focusing optic mounted to the 5D, which simultaneously directs multiple images of radiating energy onto the photosensitive surface. Thirty fractured images assembled together in a cellular construction create an abstraction asking questions and providing answers. Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.

“The curious thing about the readymade is that I've never been able to arrive at a definition or explanation that fully satisfies me.” - Marcel Duchamp
