isually organizing the near and far can emphasize formal relationships, especially when using a wide angle lens which exaggerates spatial proportions. A 12mm focal length lens packs a lot of information into the picture plane. Effectively using such a lens requires an understanding of optical principles and much practical experience. Having spent some time this week reviewing optical science and engineering, I now need more image capture practice, and must get out and do some more shooting. Radiation is being propagated and reflected in the environment as I write this message, and I hate to have it go to waste.
