he permanent as contrasted with the accidental element of being. Just before leaving a prolific photographic venue, as the sun was dropping below the western horizon, I wanted to extract even more essence. So with my 12mm Sigma lens I made a quick series of longish exposures while panning the camera left to right. Subsequent processing in Lightroom, Dynamic-Photo HDR, and Photoshop created this blurred sensual and expressive rendering. This work references both abstract landscape imaging and the “Color Field” idiom.
