Darlene's House | Two doors down Occidental Urban Free-standing dwelling |
T
he architect Norbert Schoenauer, in his book 6,000 Years of Housing, established three major categories of housing types. One of these is the "Occidental Urban" which includes medieval urban houses, Renaissance town houses, and the houses, tenements, and apartments of the 19th and 20th centuries. This seems a sufficiently broad classification to include just about every habitation located hereabouts. Also given that the primary resident of this domicile is a connoisseur in Renaissance Literature solidifies the designation.
“All the world 's a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts.” - William Shakespeare
