ircles of confusion. I have fabricated a new lens by using an optical element pulled out of a Kiron 28-85mm zoom and placing it over a Vivitar macro focusing tele-extender. This refractive combination creates wonderful soft-focus radiation smears that are energizing my creative compulsion. Rendering indistinctness through precise focal plane control entertains my intellectual curiosity, as questions of what is real are articulated.
