Salience | Light bulb Shadow casting Distinction pattern |
H
ere I was attracted to the light bulb and its shadow integrated into an abstract background. The image was captured just a few feet away from yesterdays “Old Pickup” image. Sometimes I consider how many wildly different visual descriptions can be created within a small geographic area. This concept may be the nucleus for a new class assignment, where a defined area is specified, and students must make at least ten interesting photographs within those boundaries. Such an exercise should help to expand creative awareness.
