ere is an image of a remnant prairie next to an abandoned railroad trail conversion near Bolivar. The goal was to test a new optic I had recently assembled, which incorporated a variable pinhole and a small defocus lens. By changing the pinhole diameter, the degree of sharpness is controlled. To make this image, several separate exposures each employing a different aperture size, were combined as HDR sources. At the smallest pinhole diameter, diffraction has created an interesting wavelength spectrum dispersion.
