he translucent material of the protective covering of this small station caught my eye. As I composed an image through the camera viewfinder, the vanishing point and small figure walking down the street in the distance became important considerations. High dynamic range processing helped to establish the mood and atmospheric feel perceived when present at the Springfield location. If not for several scary looking persons smoking nearby, two of whom seemed overly concerned about my camera, I might have explored the subject further.
