s I prepare to travel back to Ripley Tennessee for another round of imaging technology presentations, I dug into the archives and found this capture made on a similar trip in August 2007. Shot while traveling north from Memphis, I placed the sun fireball directly behind a large road sign, which helped to control contrast. Somehow in this iteration there is minimal flare from the windshield, a problem often encountered under such exposure conditions.
