ome people claim the moon does not revolve around the earth. Instead both the earth and moon actually revolve around a center of gravity called the barycenter, which is the result of the two gravitational fields working together. This allegedly holds true for all revolving systems.
Other people claim the full moon affects human behavior because people are made mostly of water, and the moon affects tides. But of course moon phase is based on how much reflected light is observable from Earth's view and has no affect on gravitation pull.
“I like to think that the moon is there even if I am not looking at it.” - Albert Einstein
