Transcendence

   Sparks revealed
Shards embedded
Creation emanation

S ometimes the subject of fine art is art. And sometimes the subject of my photographs is photography. I like to take the inherent characteristics of physical aspects of the medium and exploit them for aesthetic rewards. An excellent example is making catadioptric lens bokeh the subject of a series of images. Focus plain selection is critical to success, as the radiation patterns shimmer and shift across the universe.
