hoes are utilitarian ornamentation. As long time visitors to Latentsifier know, I enjoy old painted advertisements as residual cultural artifacts. I consider them as time markers, remnants of civilizations that were. I wonder what it would have been like to visit the shoe store that originally placed this painted building-side commercial. Such an opportunity would validate the development of a time travel device.
