y its intrinsic nature the shadow self is two times an identity, so it is poetic to render as a double exposure. A traditional analog double exposure is a technique in which a piece of film is exposed twice, to two different luminescence patterns. The resulting photographic image shows the second image superimposed over the first. But digital photography has expanded the definition to include post capture image superimposing. In my latest self shadow work, I am making double exposures of related self shadow subjects and combining them using HDR processing methods. It is quite interesting to observe the trajectory of my work as I explore new avenues of expression.
