rectangular geometric abstraction materialized as I ambled along. Sometimes things just fall into place. This is a study of asymmetrical balance and spatial shape associations, addressing the inherently two dimensional nature of the picture plane. The process of creating a purely pictorial reality built of elemental geometric forms evolved as a logical extension of Cubist deconstruction.
