Greyhound

   Transcontinental
Art deco station
Common carrier

G o Greyhound – and leave the driving to us. This sleek, streamlined bus station located in Blytheville, Arkansas was built in 1938 and was designed by Ben Watson White. It features the trademark art deco style symbolizing modernism. Evoking the efficiency and adventure of travel, the motif was based on the future and on an artistic expression contemplating the machine age.

“Because in my head there's a Greyhound station, where I send my thoughts to far off destinations...” - Death Cab for Cutie
