ack down in the Arkansas swamps, infrared radiation glows on the foreground grasses while being absorbed into the lake. Humans are unable to sense infrared wavelengths, but some snakes have sensory pits which are sensitive to infrared energy. It is theorized that snakes with two sensory pits possess infrared depth perception. What a wonderful world it must be.
