alking along the on the sidewalk in Eureka Springs, an historic building extends to the street with an elevated front porch structure featuring a wooden railing. Reaching the far end, the distinct umbra formed an interesting retinal energy pattern at the boundary interface. Tilting the camera so that only a portion of the occulting body is included in the image, an abstraction extraction is realized. In reality there is no such thing as a point source radiator.
