reative inspiration comes from many sources. Here is an image made in response to a request from a colleague for help in designing a quilt pattern. The background image is a detail from the side of an old building shot on my Tennessee trip, and the star was created by stacking layers using a combination of Photoshop's import 3D layer and vanishing point filter. Experiments help to break you free from familiar modalities.
