arly evening on the Konza Prairie in the Flint Hills, I looked up from a small valley and noticed these trees agreeably aligned along the ridge. Looks like the prevailing wind patterns have shaped them satisfyingly towards the right. This was in early spring and the foliage had yet to emerge. I still hope to go back for another photographic exploration before the summer ends.
