ooks like I now have a series of smoke stacks and combustion liberation images in progress. As always the primary motivating force supporting the work is visual – a desire to produce something which is interesting and engaging. Here the backlighting of the incineration gases makes them seem three dimensional. Of course other issues are addressed involving both the conversion of matter to energy and the disruptive nature of mankind's relationship to the planet.
