visit to Crockett Birthplace State Park in eastern Tennessee provided an opportunity to take an extended walk along a tributary of the Nolichucky River. Progressing along the trail, the environment oscillated between woods and open mowed fields. Bright sunlight from a low angle coupled with lush green foliage set-up advantageous conditions for infrared captures. Arising from mountain streams and full from spring storms, the sound of the adjacent fast moving rivulet was melodious.
