ere is a study in surface textures layered horizontally representing the vagaries of time and accommodation. It sort of reminds me of geological rock formation stratification which is sometimes evident at a cutaway roadside. The indecipherable painted advertisements are an appealing component. The entire aggregate is available for viewing and photographing as part of a large construction project in downtown Kansas City, as old structures are removed to make way for the new.
