H ere is a study in surface textures layered horizontally representing the vagaries of time and accommodation. It sort of reminds me of geological rock formation stratification which is sometimes evident at a cutaway roadside. The indecipherable painted advertisements are an appealing component. “We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another.
