O
n my photographic journeys, frequently I will oscillate between various subjects and different techniques. One day I might be photographing natural landscapes in a rural setting, while the next day I am exploring the visual possibilities in a city or town. This variety is stimulating and helps to ensure the trips are productive both in terms of images captured and skill development. One of the most satisfying aspects of pursuing the artistic life is the prospect of continuous improvement, thus I actively seek strategies to promote this aspiration.
“Do not bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.” - Willam Faulkner
