A lthough the foliage had not yet erupted for spring, I felt the high altitude of Denver might provide copious quantities of infrared radiation. So on my recent trip I went prepared with my filters and monopod and was well rewarded with a nice series of IR captures. On another issue related to this image, generally with architecture shots vertical convergence is considered problematic. But in this particular case, the effect helps to set the stage and provide a sense of magnitude to the scene. I tried a corrected version and it just didn't visually communicate as effectively.
