A n interesting aspect of the postmodern metropolis is the concurrence of the old and the new. This is an image from my recent Denver trip of a repainted sign on a mature building in the heart of downtown. I really like the “Seeds” message coupled with the odd shaped rusted roof top sheds.

“Everyone who enjoys thinks that the principal thing to the tree is the fruit, but in point of fact the principal thing to it is the seed. -- Herein lies the difference between them that create and them that enjoy.” - Friedrich Nietzsche
