A lthough this looks kind of retro as if it was from the 1950's, it is actually an example of a recently established chain of franchised theme restaurants named "Quaker Steak and Lube". The exterior is sort of a mix between an art deco diner and a gas station, while the interior is filled with an array of automotive memorabilia. Ordinary food served in a phony atmosphere providing a mildly entertaining ambiance, if you don't contemplate the high cost of oil.

“I'd ban all automobiles from the central part of the city. You see, the automobile was just a passing fad. It's got to go. It's got to go a long way from here.” - Lawrence Ferlinghetti
