Abundantly Present

   Fluid motion
Dominant course
Continuous progression

H ere is another stitched panoramic landscape shot with an ultra wide 12mm lens in the weeks prior to spring foliage emergence. By incorporating precision panos into my image repertoire, new demands are placed on field equipment requirements. The need to rotate the camera around the lens entrance pupil moves the load off-center on the tripod. This positioning is too unbalanced for my small travel Gitzo, while my large Gitzo is too bulky and heavy for long hikes. Just like Goldilocks I need something in-between. Perhaps a Gitzo GT2530 would be just right.
