omprising visible features of a terrain, the landscape remains a venerable artistic theme. This includes obvious physical elements such as landforms, flora and fauna ecology, ambient lighting and weather conditions, and any evidence of human activity. Landscapes like all art communicate aesthetic attributes, but also always possess an ideological content. In broad terms, an ideology is simply a comprehensive vision or way of looking at things. Thus the landscape is likewise about the individuality of the photographer.
