Sharp frozen
Unsympathetic

C onsidering the visual transformations that occur in the winter as the temperature fluctuates around thirty two degrees Fahrenheit, the phase change boundary becomes eminently significant. It is so important that the heat transfer behavior of water is the underlying basis for our temperature scales. I particularly like how solid water can take many forms, with associated color modifications of objects simultaneously incorporating saturation changes in both directions.
