L ast shot of the morning at Soden's Grove Park in Emporia and the 18mm Spiratone lens worked well to delineate elongated forward shadows on the snow. The scene invoked a transcendent sensitivity to the power generated by the interaction of energy and matter. By placing the sun directly behind a tree trunk the extreme luminance contrast could be controlled. Now that I own an even wider 12mm lens, I will be on the lookout for a similar set of environmental circumstances to establish how a different angular approach will render. It is good to have anticipated imaging activities on the horizon.
