arly on a snowy morning I went down to Pertle Springs to photograph the small chain of connected ponds. Although primarily I was making nature studies and landscape images, the color of this support structure against the background caught my eye. Bright white snow reflecting the overcast diffuse sky-light illuminated the symbolic message in an engaging manner. The fading remnants of treasured memories fixed while simultaneously subject to probable reinterpretation.
