uring the winter in this region the temperature frequently fluctuates across the freezing point. This irregular cycling leads to great swings in the visual landscape as snow and ice come and go. Great variety is therefore available to the dedicated nature and scenic photographer, and the case can be made that this is the best season to pursue this genre. Of course the logistics are not always convenient.
