ome subjects are physically amenable to fisheye perspective. The lines, shapes and curves flow gracefully and seem naturally rendered - the lens effect does not call attention to itself. Such is the case with this architectural interior shot of the second floor above the main entrance at the Pittsburg Technology College. Obviously plenty of effort went into the design and construction of this building. Excellent architecture is a transcendent synthesis of historical precedent, functional requirements, and creative invention.
“Through its aesthetic dimension architecture goes beyond the functional aspects that it has in common with other human sciences. Through its own particular way of expressing values, architecture can stimulate and influence social life without presuming that, in and of itself, it will promote social development.” - Nunzia Rondanini
