Down the Hall

   Contrasting forces
Positional variance
Equilibrium deviation

S hadows echo structural support members on a journey to the vanishing point. At some times and in some places external reality seems to organize itself, petitioning to be photographed. The interrelated existence parameters of energy, matter, space, and time coagulate magically. This was the circumstance during my two day visit to the Technology College at Pittsburg State University. I was there to attend the Four State Technology Conference and simply had my camera along just in case. But I found the architecture so compelling that I made images at every opportunity. Once again the universe is a large support system informing artistic purpose. My valued colleagues who were also along for the conference patiently tolerated my visual indulgence.

“If art takes up much of the artist's time, then it makes sense that she/he be "lost" in the euphoria of creating. Isn't that one of our ultimate purposes in life?” - Harley Brown
