T
hings become optically interesting when clouds come in contact with the ground. Visibility is reduced and objects rapidly fade into phantoms as their distance increases. Color saturation also quickly modulates with distance. Shadows can become three dimensional as water vapor is dense enough to be illuminated by the light that passes around objects. Scenes which are ordinary and nondescript under normal conditions can become magical when cloaked in a haze.

Wilson - In a vain effort to express my delight in the multitude of joys and astonishments I have found here, I have started and deleted many times. I’ve been looking around here for the past 2 days. For the moment, I will just say this is an extremely rewarding place to spend one's time. You are a man of prodigious artistic talent who possesses not only uncommon insight and a stimulating intellect but also and perhaps most importantly, has extraordinary communicative skills as well. I will come here often.
