orter Hall on the Pittsburg State University campus is the location of another HDR experiment. Experimentation involves risk in that time and energy is expended which may not bear fruit. Here I made several shots at different exposures and different focus planes but with some vertical displacement. I then tone mapped the ensuing images without alignment. The result is surrealistic in a disorienting way, with anomalous perspective encoding causing cognitive tension. Some images are demanding of the viewer, involving applying recognized knowledge to an unknown situation in order to conjure new understanding.
