air cut morning and I arrive at “Hats Off” on-time as scheduled, but the sole proprietor is running late. No problem, as I walk a few more blocks farther west to add an image to my Warrensburg concrete grain elevator series. Equipped with one of my hand assembled Dreamagon lenses, the early morning low angle illumination skimming across the townscape spotlights the imposing structure. Shooting with the sun at my back and adjusting the aperture for optimal edge smear effect, things fall nicely into place. The drive to make images frequently makes short unplanned time delays productive opportunities.
