N ew lens, new technique, same old front yard. There are many ways to bend light. Gaining some control over all methods seems judicious. Shooting defocused is engaging and transforms the world into broad patches of soft color and tonal relationships. Radiation capture principles can expand into diverse forms of pure photography. Developing an appreciation for all forms of expression strengthens personal articulation modalities.
