Corroboration

   No definable measure
Tribunal of experience
Stringency survival function

R ecently I had the opportunity on a beautiful autumn day to walk from my office to Pertle Springs with an engaged student. He had his Canon zoon lens, and I had a selection of my primes: a hand-made Dreamagon, a Catadioptric telephoto, and an amber filtered wide angle. Since we shared the same lens mount, I allowed him to shoot with my lenses. The experience seemed to spark his interest, opening new creative doors, and he returned with a fresh appreciation of visual possibilities. Although infrequent due to prevailing student apathy, this noteworthy learning incident is the reward of teaching. Of course along the way I found many interesting things to photograph.
