rainy afternoon exploring Chimayo resulted in many images. I worked the venue aggressively, but the light wasn't what I expected and I felt that I was forcing images out of unfavorable conditions. Sometimes it takes a while to appreciate captures that initially seem disappointing. Looking back through the archive to prepare a presentation on the trip, this scene caught my eye. I like how the wide angle fisheye has organized the colorful space. Apparently the inhabitants of this small community are accustomed to visitors with cameras, as nobody paid any attention to my activities.
