Larned Tree Two

   Emanate effuse
Ethereal exuberant
Gossamer glow

P romising themes are worthy of extended study. The subject in this image is the same tree as presented in yesterday’s post, here shot with a different camera/lens combination and in infrared. Diverse equipment coupled with a slightly adjusted viewpoint and tighter framing has rendered a much different image. While still sharing certain organizational elements, the emotional impact is altered. Frequently dexterous tool selection affects the success of the finished image as much as the photographer's skill in controlling the process. Choosing the camera and format is an integral ingredient of the practice since photography is technologically-based.
