O
n a long northward stretch of highway 71 in Eastern Colorado we pulled off for a short break. Hot, dry and desolate, this would not have been a particularly good place to break down. Always alert for potential imagery, a train track paralleled the road and provided some visual interest. While making this capture, I got bit on the leg by some unidentified nasty insect. After roaming around the vehicles for approximately fifteen minutes we loaded back up and headed on to Limon, the "Hub City" of Eastern Colorado located at the juncture of Interstate 70.
