Boondocks | Isolated and away More distant than the sticks With an affliction of distaste |

ven when I visit a small town in a remote location, I find it interesting to explore the outskirts. This image was captured on the perimeter of Franklin, Nebraska; a town lost in the dust of time. It is such a small municipality that the outer reaches are only a few blocks from the city center. Although I was questioned by an overly protective inhabitant seemly concerned about the ramifications of camera doings, I was able to press-on and extract several satisfactory images. I am still enjoying making diptych-like images with a single exposure compositionally split down the middle.
